Leeds United and Wolves join Nottingham Forest, West Brom and Fulham in monitoring 7-goal ace

AFC Wimbledon could reportedly lose Jack Rudoni in the summer transfer window, with Leeds United, Burnley and Wolves amongst the Premier League sides scouting the 20-year-old.

Rudoni has scored seven goals and registered three assists in League One this season for the Dons, impressing in midfield.

As per TEAMtalk, Wimbledon are ‘braced’ to lose Rudoni in the summer transfer window, as interest from the Premier League and Championship continues to grow.

Leeds, Burnley and Wolves are all said to have ‘actively’ scouted the midfielder, whilst Nottingham Forest and Fulham are amongst the Championship clubs to have done the same.

Luton Town, Swansea City, West Brom and Hull City are all other Championship clubs linked with Rudoni, as a host of summer opportunities potentially loom.

Rudoni has been on the books at Plough Lane since a young age and has progressed well through the ranks at Wimbledon.

The 20-year-old has made 92 appearances in total across all competitions and scored 12 goals.

His tally of seven this season is already a career best for the midfielder, with Rudoni showcasing his goalscoring prowess against League One big hitters like Sheffield Wednesday, Oxford United and Wycombe Wanderers – scoring a brace against the latter back in December’s 2-2 draw.

The Verdict

Rudoni is one of League One’s brightest talents and the selection of clubs that have scouted him only underlines how highly he is rated.

The midfielder has scored seven goals this season and that will get a lot of clubs interested, whether that’s in the Premier League or the Championship.

Come the summer, it looks like the 20-year-old will have a pick of exciting opportunities to explore, whether that’s taking the plunge in the Premier League
