Leeds told why Jack Harrison exit possibilities a major worry on top of Phillips, Raphinha doubts

Leeds United may have to do everything to keep Jack Harrison this summer amid interest from elsewhere in the Premier League, one pundit has said.

The Whites are facing a pivotal summer transfer window after securing their top-flight status on the final day of the season. New signings are therefore a must, with midfielder Brenden Aaronson added to Jesse Marsch’s squad.

Rasmus Kristensen is edging closer to a move to Elland Road and will bolster Leeds’ full-back options.

However, player retention will also prove key for Leeds this summer. There are big doubts over the futures of both Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, with Manchester City and Barcelona circling for the pair respectively.

According to former Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson, though, the Whites should also worry about winger Harrison’s future.

The 25-year-old has transfer interest from Tottenham and Newcastle this summer and Robinson has said that the Englishman could be tempted to leave, given the circumstances of both clubs.

“Yes, I think so. I think he will be tempted,” the pundit told MOT Leeds News.

“Harrison’s had a good season. He’s been hampered by injury but has played at times through the pain barrier when people didn’t know that he was injured.

“Newcastle are going in the right direction and Tottenham have Champions League football next year so both will be appealing to him.

“If he does get the option to go there, Leeds will have to do everything they can to try and hold onto him.

“From the player’s point of view, you can see why he would be tempted away.”

Harrison moved to Leeds in 2018 on a loan spell from Man City. He has therefore been part of the club’s highs and lows since he arrived.
