Leeds target ‘looking for a transfer’ has ‘more than enough’ interest to make a move
Leeds United target Nicolas Raskin is reportedly ‘looking for a transfer’ away from current club Standard Liege in the summer.
Raskin has a good deal of experience for a 21-year-old. The midfielder has racked up 78 appearances for Standard Liege, and has contributed to 13 goals in his career so far.
Raskin missed just five league games this season, scoring once and providing four assists. He also has experience of playing in European competition, he scored against Benfica in last season’s Europa League.
That was one of four games he has played in the tournament.
The 21-year-old has gained interest from a number of sides. Leeds United were reportedly keen on him in the January window.
An update from Het Laatste Nieuws claims that the Belgian is ‘looking for a transfer’. He could have left previously, but opted to remain until the end of the season.
With his contract up at the end of the next campaign, though, it appears he will now leave. The report states that Standard’s attempts to renew his contract were ‘in vain’.
