Leeds Rhinos suffer late chaos with Liam Sutcliffe withdrawn last minute for Toulouse clash

Liam Sutcliffe has been withdrawn from the Leeds Rhinos squad to take on Toulouse Olympique despite being named in the original side. Rugby League Live understands Sutcliffe, due the play halfback, has fallen ill and will not feature.

It's further chaos for Rohan Smith to contend with, with Aidan Sezer, Kruise Leeming and Blake Austin all being joined on the sidelines by Zak Hardaker, who hasn't recovered from a dead leg. Jack Sinfield will now start in the halves with Corey Johnson. Richie Myler continues at fullback and Jarrod O'Connor will start at nine.

Rhyse Martin moves into the centres and 17-year-old Max Simpson is given another chance to impress. Another teenager, Jack Sinfield, is on the bench. THe pack, missing Zane Tetevano and Matt Prior, sees Sam Walters start at prop with Mikolaj Oledzki. Morgan Gannon is promoted to the starting back-row position.

Liam Tindall, who was 18th man, will now start from the bench.

Toulouse, meanwhile, are near full strength. Justin Sangare, who is set to join the Rhinos next season, starts from the bench for Sylvain Houles' side, who can move off bottom with a win.

Leeds Rhinos: Myler, Fusitu'a, Simpson, Martin, Handley, Sutcliffe, Sinfield, Oledzki, O'Connor, Walters, Gannon, Bentley, Smith. Subs: Tindall, Dwyer, Thompson, Donaldson.
