The English Football League have today confirmed the play-off dates and times for the League One semi-finals. There is still work for Sheffield Wednesday to do if they are to compete in the end-of-season extravaganza.
But the Owls find themselves in a strong position going into the final five matches of the regular league campaign. They are fifth in the table on 73 points, level with sixth-placed Sunderland and seventh-placed Wycombe, although they crucially have a game in hand on the Chairboys.
It is going to be a nail-biting finish and the Easter period could potentially be season-defining for Wednesday. After a trip to automatic promotion hopefuls Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday, the Owls entertain rock-bottom Crewe Alexandra.

Darren Moore's side are on a six-match unbeaten run and still have an outside chance of finishing in the top two. Rotherham United's dip in form has left the door open for the chasing pack.
Automatic promotion still looks a long shot for Wednesday. They have little margin for error after Saturday's frustrating draw at Bolton Wanderers. Plenty of results would have to go their way between now and the end of the season. The play-offs looks more likely.
Below are the League One play-off dates.
