Red-hot Rusthall are a point behind Punjab United - with three matches in hand - having seen off Kennington 3-0 at home.

All the goals came in the first half as Jack Lyons’ goal sandwiched a Charlie Clover double.

Whitstable’s eight-match winning run in all competitions came to an end with a 1-1 draw at Snodland.

With 16 minutes remaining, Kane Phillip drew first blood for the home side before Whitstable defender Finn O’Mara earned Jamie Coyle’s team a share of the spoils.

Glebe saw off Corinthian 2-1 at home.

Trailing to Jacob Feasey’s goal midway through the first half, two goals in four second-half minutes from Will Dempsey and Jerson Dos Santos put the Lydders ahead.

Ronnie Dolan sealed the points for Lydd with a penalty in the 84th minute.

They are three points
