LCR presents Rins’ MotoGP 2023 Castrol Honda

Alex Rins presented his LCR Castrol Honda RC213V on Tuesday as he prepares to campaign the 2023 MotoGP season later this month.

With just over a fortnight to go before the inaugural round at Portugal’s Algarve International Circuit, and the final pre-season test at the same venue this weekend, Rins is ready for his seventh year in the premier class and his first on Honda machinery.

“My dream right now is to be a world champion,” Rins confirmed from the launch. “I work a lot, I fight a lot for this. To become a world champion you need to work, you need to be with good professionals, you need to fight, you need to also in your job, in home, with the family you need to have everything under control.

“This is going to be my seventh season in MotoGP and every year I’m learning something new,” he continued. “I learned a lot during these years.

“What I will say to the Alex from 15 years ago is to work hard, to be happy, to find good people around you and if you have this and you work quite hard, you will arrive.

“My strongest point as a rider can be the constants. I tried to work hard from the beginning. If we look at one GP weekend from Friday, I’m trying to study, to learn the circuit, to learn the notes I took the pervious year. To stay with my engineers, trying to understand the bike and trying to know more or less all the secrets from that track. I will start 2023 with determination, working on my bike to have a good potential.”
