The Magpies have won three of their last four games and have given themselves some breathing space in their fight against relegation.

The bookmakers have recognised Newcastle's mid-season resurgence and the survival odds have shifted in their favour.

Eddie Howe's side are now 9/2 to be relegated according to oddschecker, making them the sixth favourite for relegation.

Norwich City remain the favourites to go down, while the bookmakers are also expecting Watford and Burnley to join them in the Championship next season.
