'Large collection' of newspaper articles on disappearance of Nicola Bulley listed for sale on eBay for £40

Newspaper clippings about the disappearance of Nicola Bulley are being sold online. A collection of front pages and articles about the disappearance and death of the mother-of-two are being sold on eBay for around £40.

Nicola's story garnered major public attention when the she suddenly disappeared after dropping her kids of at school in the village of St. Michael's-on-Wyre. Nicola was last seen walking her spaniel, Willow along the River Wyre, before logging on to a work Teams call.

However, just ten minutes after she was seen by another dog walker, she was nowhere to be found and all that was left was her phone and Willow the dog. A three week search ensued to find Nicola whose body was sadly recovered in the River Wyre, about a mile away from where she last seen.

Now, LancsLive reports how newspaper articles and front pages from the period when Nicola was missing, are being sold online from people looking to make a profit. In one particular eBay listing, the description reads: "For sale a large collection of whole page daily newspapers with regarding the mysterious disappearance of NICOLA BULLEY.

"I often collect newspapers relating to mysterious incidents as it can be a great aid to the memory when it comes to solving these type of incidents. Newspaper reports are very often collected by the police involved in such cases."

The listing is scheduled to end just after 12pm on Sunday 26 February. So far, no bids have been made.

The seller and eBay have been approached for comment.
