Langenhan continues super streak in St. Mortiz to close gap on Fischnaller and Loch

Germany's Max Langenhan continued his super streak of World Cup wins with his fifth consecutive title in St. Moritz.

The 23-year-old luger swept home in a total time of 2:13.596 on the Swiss artificial track, just 11 milliseconds ahead of compatriot and men's sprint world champion Felix Loch. Ad Latvia's Kristers Aparjods improved from 11th after his first run to take bronze while overall leader Dominik Fischnaller of Italy could only manage eighth.

There was more success for Germany in the doubles, with Jessica Degenhardt/Cheyenne Rosenthal taking the women's event ahead of Italian pair Andrea Voetter and Marion Oberhofer.

And in the men's doubles, Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt led fellow Germans Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken for the third time in a row.
