The next few months in Frank Lampard’s managerial career will arguably be his most important, as the start he has endured at Everton hasn’t exactly given the supporters much to savour.

The Toffees narrowly escaped relegation from the Premier League with a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace in their penultimate match on a night when Goodison Park was bouncing.

The Merseyside club have made a decent start to their summer transfer business, already securing the signature of Burnley defender James Tarkowski when his contract expires at the end of the month to improve Lampard’s woeful backline.

The activity probably won’t stop there either, with Everton linked with Chelsea trio Armando Broja, Conor Gallagher and Levi Colwill, although it’s a young Championship prospect who could be next on Lampard’s wish list.

According to Hull Live, the Toffees have been linked with Hull City gem Keane Lewis-Potter, and they face a battle with Brentford in order to bring him to Goodison Park this summer.

A £15m bid may be enough to seal the deal for the talented winger, who scored 13 goals and grabbed four assists last season, and he may be looking to follow former Hull winger Jarrod Bowen in making a move to the Premier League shortly.

Bowen has been a sensation at West Ham, with the east London club reportedly valuing him at £75m after he netted an impressive 17 goals last term for the Irons.

Of course, there are no guarantees that Lewis-Potter will emulate Bowen, but his career has gotten off to an exciting start and a move to Everton could be great for the Hull winger.
