Everton have made over 40 new signings in the last six years, with many of them falling flat, as master of bad decisions Farhad Moshiri has continuously failed to secure players that can have a positive impact on the side.

The Toffees have found themselves facing a potential relegation battle over these past couple of weeks and onto their sixth permanent manager in six years after Frank Lampard was appointed to replace Rafa Benitez at the club on Deadline Day last month.

But his influence is already having an impact with two out of three comfortable wins in charge, and undefeated in his first two home games at Goodison Park.

When it comes to signings this season, Demarai Gray and Andros Townsend are the two most impactful and notable signings made over the summer, with a combined cost of £1.7m but an output of 13 goals and six assists between the pair, making them the top scoring players in the side this season so far.

However, not all of the summer signings have hit the ground running, with Salomon Rondon failing to make an impact on the side.

Rondon joined the side on the summer Deadline Day last August from Chinese club Dalian on a free transfer, and despite costing Everton nothing financially, he has proven to be worth exact what they paid.

Despite scoring one goal this season in the 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, the 32-year-old has failed to make any impact on the side whatsoever and has become more of a hinderance than a help in Everton’s quest to push on in the Premier League.
