Wolves were rather ineffective in front of goal throughout their previous Premier League season.

Now that their goal-resistant season has finally come to an end, the summer transfer window will give Bruno Lage the chance to make whatever changes to his squad that he sees fit.

For Wolves fans, that would presumably entail seeing some new players come in who can add a much-needed attacking spark to the team.

Having played across numerous positions for Hull, this sort of versatility combined with a clear knack of being an attacking nuisance for opposition teams could make him an ideal prospective addition to Lage’s ranks.

Labelled a “special talent” by his former Tigers boss Grant McCann, Lewis-Potter reportedly has a price tag of £18m.

Should the Old Gold secure a deal for the youngster this summer, this could replicate the same sort of move that West Ham United pulled off when they signed one of Hull’s attacking talents in the shape of Jarrod Bowen in January 2020.
