Kyogo in major Celtic injury sweat as star striker limps off in agony ahead of Scottish Cup Final
Celtic talisman Kyogo faces a Scottish Cup final sweat after limping off early in the second half of the champions clash against Aberdeen.
The Hoops striker was caught by Dons keeper Kelle roos as the Japanese star contested a ball with the Dutchman. Kyogo bagged a quickfire brace in the first half but his match was cut short as he was forced off, replaced by South Korean frontman Oh. The 28-year-old’s double took him to 27 for the Scottish Premiership season as he looks to finish the league’s top gun. He has netted 33 in all competitions and will be hoping to add to that in the Scottish Cup final against Inverness Caley Thistle at Hampden.
Ange Postecoglou will be desperate for his main man to recover in time for the clash against the Highlanders as the Aussie chases a domestic clean sweep. Defensive rock Cameron Carter-Vickers has been out since undergoing a knee operation but Alistair Johnston made his return from the sidelines against the Dons.
