Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid is OVER as PSG boo boy sees Galactico masterplan 'discarded'

Superstar Kylian Mbappe will reportedly NOT join Real Madrid despite his future with Paris Saint-Germain shrouded in doubt.

The 23-year-old moved to deny reports he wants out of PSG in January but his time in the French capital has been overshadowed by bickering and a strained relationship with Neymar since penning his new two-year deal in the summer. Mbappe stunned the world of football when he decided against moving to Real Madrid after years of admiring glances on both sides.

Many believed Florentino Perez would come again for his top target, however, Diario AS claim Los Blancos will continue with Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema as the club's main man before moving for Manchester City's goal machine Erling Haaland in 2024. Mbappe remains among the goals but the latest storm surrounding his future resulted in him being showered by boos during the glitzy ceremony which crowned Benzema as the world's best men's player.

It comes after Mbappe moved to distance himself from multiple reports which stated he is seeking a sharp exit from his home city over claims of broken promises. He said: "I'm very happy. I never asked for my departure in January. I was just as shocked as everyone else. There are people who may think I’m involved in this, but I’m not involved, I was taking a nap.

"My entourage was at my little brother's game, all the people who take care of me weren’t there so we were flabbergasted when we heard about it. Afterwards, we had to deal with it, there was a game to play. Just to say that it is completely wrong, and I am very happy."
