Kylian Mbappe's goal for France v Austria shows how hard he is to stop

Kylian Mbappe is arguably the best player in world football right now.

The Paris Saint-Germain superstar enjoyed a superb individual campaign in 2021/22, scoring 39 goals and assisting a further 26 across all competitions.

But there’s far more to Mbappe‘s game than just numbers. He is truly exhilarating to watch thanks to his incredible speed and freestyler-esque dribbling ability.

The 23-year-old’s unique skill set means he scores a high number of breathtaking goals for club and country, with another one added to the collection on Friday evening.

Towards the end of France’s UEFA Nations League match against Austria, Mbappe went into full ‘unstoppable mode’ to finish off a sweeping counterattack and make it 1-1.

The PSG star latched on to a clever pass from RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku and then turned on the afterburners, before cooly firing the ball into the back of the net with his weaker left peg.

It was yet another work of art from a Ballon d’Or winner in the making…
