KSI's ex-coach tips him to beat Jake Paul, says 'Tyron Woodley and JJ are not the same person'

KSI has been backed to beat Jake Paul in a boxing match by his former coach Viddal Riley.

The British YouTuber turned boxer – real name Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji – became a household name after beating Logan Paul in November 2019.

However, he has not fought since then, though he recently announced that he will be returning to the ring on August 27.

KSI’s opponent for his comeback is yet to be confirmed.

Paul, meanwhile, has compiled a perfect 5-0 record as a pro boxer, as he was recently seen knocking out former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley last December.

It added to KO wins over fellow influencer ‘AnEsonGib’, former NBA player Nate Robinson, 38, and retired MMA fighter Ben Askren, 37.

But Riley, who longer coaches KSI so he can focus on his own career, tipped his friend to beat Logan’s little brother.

Speaking on a recent episode of The Happy Hour podcast, the 24-year-old said: “Of course he’s able to beat him. What did I tell you? He’s a man just like he is.

“Jake Paul has shown more skill than JJ has shown. This is a fact. You can’t argue with that, he has.

“But, he ain’t fought JJ, and he hasn’t fought people who I feel have the same desire, will, power, size that JJ has.

“People don’t realise that just because you perform good against one man, doesn’t mean you can do it against someone else, because someone else might actually have you shook.

“Someone else might actually make you think, ‘You know what, I’m not even trying that move today because he might hurt me’.

“So that’s why whenever anyone says, ‘Oh, look at the way he dealt with Tyron Woodley…’
