Kolo Toure details 'invincible' difference between Man City and Arsenal

Kolo Toure believes Manchester City have the momentum against an Arsenal side feeling the pressure.

Mikel Arteta's side lead the Premier League by five points but have drawn their last three games to open the door for Pep Guardiola's defending champions, whose busy schedule in three competitions means they have two matches in hand. Arsenal visit the Etihad on Wednesday in a top-of-the-table clash where victory for either side will put them significantly closer to the title.

Not only was Toure part of the City squad that won their first Premier League title back in 2012, the centre-back was also a key figure in the Invincibles, who went a whole season undefeated in 2003/04 and are the last Arsenal side to win the league. Toure sees a similar level of confidence in a City side unbeaten in 16 games in all competitions that makes them harder to beat on the pitch.

"When you win games, there's a moment where you feel invincible and like you will win the next game. You have no doubts with every pass you do or control you do," he said.

"Man City have the momentum. They're winning every single game they're playing and the City players are used to those moments where everything is important and every mistake is costly. "They are used to and know how to cope with it and that is really important. But at the same time that can be tricky because if you lose one game, it can be really tough because the momentum changes again and you start doubting and simple passes you were making you cannot make the same."
