Manchester United have had so many talented youngsters come through their academy in the Premier League era.

In the present day, Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay, Jesse Lingard and Dean Henderson have all established themselves in the first-team after graduating through the academy.

United also possess talented youngsters including Shola Shoretire and Charlie McNeill.

The next star that could emerge from their esteemed academy is Kobbie Mainoo.

Mainoo, a centre midfielder, has technique and composure well beyond his years.

The youngster, who turns 17 years old on April 19, has been impressing as captain for United’s U17s in their 2022 Adidas Generation Cup campaign.

United were successful in a penalty shootout against LA Galaxy earlier this week and Mainoo’s spot-kick has been doing the rounds on social media.

LA Galaxy’s goalkeeper was doing everything he could to try and put Mainoo off, shouting: “Look at me! Look at me! LOOK. AT. ME! Let’s go! Let’s go!”

The mind games didn’t have an effect on Mainoo, though.
