Kirstie Allsop demands council leave dog poo until it's 'piled high' on the street

Kirstie Allsop has demanded that her local council leave dog poo "piled high" on the street. The Location Location Location presenter made the demand after being left furious while out walking her dog, Dandy.

While out walking the border terrier around her block, Allsop noticed several bags of poo tied up and left by the trees at the side of the pavement. But while the dog's owners had decided to bag their dog's mess up, they thought it was perfectly acceptable to leave the bags and their filthy contents by the side of the road.

The scenes left Allsop livid and she took to Instagram to complain to the council. In her post, she demanded that the council stop picking up after dog walkers.

She said: "So sorry to sully lovely friendly Instagram, but this was what I saw doing a brief circuit of my block this morning with Dandy, our border terrier. The only way this will stop is if @kensingtonandchelseacouncil stop picking up these bags, only once they are piled high will people get the message that they MUST TAKE THEM HOME.

"There is no excuse for this, if anyone doesn’t want to carry a bag there are all sorts of products to help. @keepbritaintidy."

Fans on the social media site were quick to vent their frustration at similar situation they had encountered. Christine Atwood (christine_atwood) said: "I live in the countryside in Suffolk. People tie them to trees! There's nobody to untie them and take them home.

"They rot and the poo falls out. They may as well not pick it up in the first place! Grrrr!"
