Kieran Trippier Scores First Newcastle Goal With Brilliant 25-Yard Free-Kick In 3-1 Win Vs Everton
Eddie Howe’s men welcomed the Toffees to St James’ Park on Tuesday as they fought hard to secure three points amid their Premier League relegation battle.
A deflection off of Jamaal Lascelles fired Everton into the lead in the first half before a Mason Holgate error pulled Newcastle level not long after the opener.
Ryan Fraser scored early in the second half to put the Magpies 2-1 up, with Trippier ensuring Newcastle secured all three points with a fine free-kick strike.
