Kieran Tierney has Arsenal exit price 'revealed' as Celtic in position to land slice of 'significant' fee

Kieran Tierney will cost Newcastle United 'in excess of £30 million' if they make a move for the Arsenal left-back this summer, it has been reported.

The Scotland international left boyhood club Celtic in 2019 for £5m less than that fee and has been a favourite of the Emirates support in that time. But the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko has forced him out of Mikel Arteta's starting XI plans as they pursue a Premier League title, leading to reports of Tierney's frustration in his new cameo role in North London.

Rumours have swirled that it's Eddie Howe's Newcastle who want to offer him a new challenge, and The Telegraph claim that a 'significant' fee will be required if they want to lure him closer to home. That £30m fee could be lucrative for Celtic, who inserted a reported 15 per cent sell-on clause into the deal that took Tierney to London almost four years ago.

That means they could be entitled to at least £4.5 million if he moves at that price, potentially more if it rises. It would be a boost to the Parkhead coffers ahead of another summer of business under Ange Postecoglou.
