Kieran Tierney cops Arsenal earful from Mikel Arteta but manager's true fury saved for team-mate

Arsenal standout Kieran Tierney copped an earful from Mikel Arteta amid the Gunners' vital 3-2 win away to Watford.

Football London spotted the Spaniard giving it tight to the Scotland international for failing to close down Hornets star Chucho Hernandez in the first first half.

Tierney had an eventful afternoon as he reportedly then offered Hernandez 'outside' during a mid-match skirmish between the pair.

However, it was Arsenal team-mate Gabriel Martinelli who left the former Rangers star truly apoplectic for failing to cover the Celtic hero as he raced forward at Vicarage Road.

Arteta has spoken at length of his admiration for the Real Madrid target but the Arsenal boss was less than impressed by his side's defensive display during the uneven win against relegation-threatened Watford.

The 39-year-old was also captured venting to his No.2 Albert Stuivenberg after Martinelli's moment of indecision.
