Key cogs Tshituka, Hendrikse back as Lions name team to tackle Stormers

Tshituka starts at openside flank in place of PJ Steenkamp, while playmaker Hendrikse will start on the bench as Tiaan Swanepoel retains the No 10 jersey.

Elsewhere, vice-captain Burger Odendaal is back at inside centre in place of Matt More. Odendaal missed last week's clash against the Bulls in Pretoria due to concussion.

On the bench, seasoned prop forward JP Smith could get an opportunity to make his URC debut.

Lions coach Ivan van Rooyen welcomed the return to action of Tshituka and Hendrikse.

"We are pleased to have Vince and Jordan back in the URC setup. They've recovered and trained well over the past few weeks, so we look forward to their involvement once more."

Van Rooyen lauded his side's effort against the Bulls a week ago, despite the 21-13 defeat.

"As a group we felt our overall attitude and intensity went up a notch against the Bulls. It's the kind of momentum we’re eager to take into Saturday on the back of a positive week of training."

Saturday's clash at Ellis Park kicks off at 15:00.
