Kenfig Hill crash closes road in both directions 'for some time' – live updates

A serious crash has closed a road in both directions. The incident happened at around 2.30pm on Monday in Trederwen, Kenfig Hill.

Police officers have shut the road from the Talbot Road roundabout with the route expected to remain closed for some time. Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "We are at the scene of a serious collision on Trederwen, Kenfig Hill, Bridgend. The road is currently closed in both directions from the Talbot Road roundabout. It is expected to remain closed for some time. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes where possible."
