Kendal Calling announces new names ahead of 2022 return

Lake District music festival Kendall Calling has added more names to its 2022 line-up. Headliners Supergrass, Bastille, Stereophonics and Hacienda Classical will now be joined by dance stage favourites Hot Chip, who will bring their special Megamix show to Lowther Deer Park, as well as The Cribs.

Taking place between 28-31 July, the festival returns after a three-year hiatus, and has tonight confirmed performances by The Big Moon, who return to the fields this summer with cuts from their two studio albums, and The Academic, known for their blistering indie hooks.

Acts also confirmed today include Noisy, Zuzu, Deco, SPINN and Porji, as well as Andrew Cushin, Stanleys, Opus Kink, Apollo Junction, Low Steppa, Abbie McCarthy and more. They join an already impressive bill, with acts including The Wombats, The Kooks, Tom Grennan and Declan McKenna all confirmed back in November.

“It’s going to be one for the ages and we're down to the last handful of tickets so If you want to join us this Summer, you best get a move on! See you in the fields.”
