Kemar Roofe leaves no Rangers stone unturned as he steps into futuristic oxygen chamber to speed up injury recovery

Rangers star Kemar Roofe is leaving no stone unturned to speed up his injury comeback as he stepped into a hyperbaric oxygen chamber.

Gers striker Roofe is expected to miss Thursday night's Europa League clash in Germany against RB Leipzig.

And with Alfredo Morelos also out Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men are up against it against the Bundesliga outfit.

Fashion Sakala may be deployed as a striker or the Dutch boss may need to consider an inventive alternative solution such as a false nine role.

It's also presumed Roofe will miss the clash against Celtic on Sunday, in which Rangers badly need a win to haul themselves back into the Premiership title race.

But he's pulling out all the stops to get back fit as soon as possible after he climbed into the futuristic machine at a local chemist.

Hyperbaric oxygen chambers increase air pressure by two to three times, allowing the lungs to take in far more oxygen than usual and helping to repair body tissue.

It's used to treat conditions from a loss of sight or hearing to carbon monoxide poisoning.

And Glasgow-based Dickson Chemist allowed Roofe to use their equipment as he posted on Instagram: "Trying to find another 1%

"Thank you to Dickson Chemist for helping with your Hyperbaric Chamber."
