Keane claims CL is ‘huge’ for Tottenham to ‘attract new players’
Robbie Keane believes Champions League qualification would be “huge” for Tottenham as they look to “attract new players” this summer.
Spurs are in a strong position in the Premier League at the moment. They sit seventh in the table but they will move up to fourth if they make the most of their games in hand.
They also advanced in the FA Cup on Saturday as they beat Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1.

Speaking after their win over Brighton, Keane suggested that qualifying for the Champions League is key for Spurs:
“If they play like that, certainly the first half, they’ll win a lot more games than they lose,” Keane said (via Football London).
“They’re only a couple points off Man United with a couple of games in hand.
“I think for Tottenham this season, if they can win a trophy, the FA Cup and get into the Champions League, I think that’s a very very successful season.
“I think the Champions League is huge for Tottenham.
“For [Antonio] Conte signing new players in the summer, if you have the Champions League that’ll attract them.”
