Katie Quirke, Shane O'Donnell, Aofie Prendergast and Peadar Mogan land PwC GAA/GPA June monthly awards

Peadar Mogan landed his second consecutive PwC GAA/GPA player of the month awarded as he picked up the trophy for his performances in June.

The pacy Donegal defender won May's award as well, continuing his fine form into last month as he hit five points in the All-Ireland Football Championship quarter-final over Louth, following on from contributing a critical score against Clare.

On the camogie front, Aoife Prendergast took the award for June, scoring in all of Kilkenny's games - including hitting 2-05 against Antrim - as the Cats secured second spot in their All-Ireland group.

While Shane O'Donnell won the hurling prize, his second of 2024, putting in big showings in the Munster final loss to Limerick, and the subsequent quarter-final triumph over Wexford. O'Donnell and his Banner team-mates have an All-Ireland final to look forward to in just under two weeks' time.
