Katie McGlynn jokes Disneyland has 'ruined' her as she relives childhood memories

Katie McGlynn has joked that she has been left 'ruined' by Disneyland after heading on a family trip.

The former Coronation Street star headed off to the magical theme park in Paris and said she was 'reliving' childhood memories.

She has been keeping her thousands of followers updated with regular snaps of herself getting involved in the Disney fun alongside her young niece.

But now the holiday is over, Katie has been brought back down to earth with a bit of a bang.

Sharing some more snaps from her trip with her followers, the 28-year-old, from Rochdale, said: "Disneyland Paris photo dump."

The first picture showed the actress posing in front of the Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse statue while donning her own pair of Minnie Mouse ears.

Another showed her posing in front of Cinderella's Castle while she and the family also got stuck into the many rides on offer.

"I’m in serious need of some vegetables and food with at least some nutritional value, a deep tissue foot massage (that’s not an invitation for the foot fetish brigade to get involved) and a remortgage to cover my spending…" Katie went one.

"Disneyland has ruined me. Heaven for kids…hell for adults."

But she didn't really mean it.⁣

"Jokes aside it’s been lovely to spend quality time with the family and reliving my childhood memories," she added.

Katie's time away comes after her time on Hollyoaks came to an end.

Her character's final scenes were aired last month, less than a year after joining the Channel 4 show as Becky Quentin.

It was Katie's first big TV role after leaving Coronation Street 18 months earlier.
