Kate Middleton fans delighted as she returns to social media with joyful statement signed off with a C

Kate Middleton has made a rare personal statement amid her recovery from her cancer diagnosis.

The Princess of Wales has shared that she is “looking forward” to her upcoming work duties. Princess Kate has kept public appearances to a minimum since she revealed her cancer diagnosis in March this year, and while she recovers, it hasn’t been announced when she will return to her working life.

However, today she shared that she was anticipating her Royal work duties with a heartwarming personal message. Issuing a statement on X, she took to her and Prince William’s official account to share her joy about a cherished organisation, and her future plans to work with it.

Kate, 42, is joint president of the Scout Association, and has been since 2020, alongside the Duke of Kent, who she shares the title with.

Today she expressed her excitement about the announcement of the UK’s new chief Scout. In the statement, she wrote: Delighted to welcome @DwayneFields as the new UK Chief Scout.

The Scouts is such an incredible organisation, teaching #SkillsForLife and making a huge difference to young people across the country.” She signed off looking forward to the future, with a personal ‘C’, adding: “Looking forward to working with you! C.” Fans were quick to show their support, writing: “Beautiful message from Catherine,” and “Lovely to hear from Catherine.” Princess Kate’s last personal message on the shared platform was in August, where she posted a joint message with William showing their support for Team GB’s athletes at the Paralympics.

The couple wrote: “Looking forward to another few weeks of incredible sport! Wishing the very best of luck to our @ParalympicsGB athletes and all those competing at #Paris2024.
