Kano Pillars FC seal 2-year sponsorship deal with Gongoni

Kano Pillars FC

Kano Pillars Football Club have signed a two-year partnership deal with Gongoni, makers of Rambo insecticide, antiseptic and other household products.

Speaking after the agreement was signed by the organisations on Monday in Kano, the chairman of the club, Alhaji Babangida Umar, said that the deal was a historic moment for the club.

He said that the club would join forces with a brand that shares the same vision and values.

Umar said that the club looks forward to a fruitful and long relationship that would benefit both parties.

The chairman thanked the state government, supporters and the players for their efforts in moving the club forward.

Earlier, the Director of the company, Alhaji Abdullahi Halilu, said that the company was delighted to be associated with the home team.

He explained that the partnership would further enhance the spirit of sportsmanship in the state.

According to him, the company has been involved in supporting sports activities in the past, through club-based associations.

Halilu added that the two year partnership deal would see Kano Pillars feature the company`s logo prominently on the team’s jerseys and across the stadium.

The News agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the officials of the company were however silent about the amount the deal is worth.
