Chelsea have already been told why they will not lose both Timo Werner and Kai Havertz this summer with the latter already admitting that the 'vision' of the club will be enough for him to reject a potential Bayern Munich approach amid uncertainty.

With the cog of the takeover now in full works, players' futures are starting to be discussed with the former RB Leipzig man being the talk of the week with conflicting reports surfacing regarding his immediate future. Regardless of what happens with Werner, it's safe to say he hasn't lived up to expectations since his £49.5million move under the Frank Lampard era despite his mostly positive mindset.

After 80 appearances for the Blues, Werner has just 19 goals. And only seven of those have been struck this season. The hope that accompanied his arrival has long dissipated. The belief in his goalscoring prowess - in the Premier League at least - has very much been extinguished. Still, supporters have not turned on the 26-year-old. However, his comments during the international break on Chelsea and Germany may have been seen by fans as a low blow with the versatile forward now ready to pack his bags this summer if the right offer was to come in.
