K-Mag amused by Schumacher’s ‘very first words’

Kevin Magnussen has revealed the unusual choice of first words spoken to him by his new Haas team-mate Mick Schumacher.

Magnussen’s return to the sport has been one of the stories of the season having been called back to Haas with just a few weeks to go before the opening race in Bahrain.

Since then, he has finished in the points in three of the four races, including a remarkable fifth in his first grand prix back.

He also appears to have built quite the rapport with his new team-mate Mick Schumacher, who made an unusual choice when it came to the first words he said to his new partner.

“His very first words to me were ‘suck my balls!’,” Magnussen revealed to Sport Bild.

While appearing to be an unusual and rather insulting way to greet your new team-mate, Schumacher was actually referencing a clip of Magnussen saying the very same thing.

At the 2017 Hungarian Grand Prix, Magnussen forced Nico Hulkenberg off the track and the German approached the Haas driver in the media pen after the race.

Hulkenberg reached out his hand, to which Magnussen stared at it blankly before saying “Once again, the most unsporting driver on the grid.”
