Juventus willing to trade prized starlet to usurp Manchester United in race for Serie A magician
Juventus are desperate to beat Manchester United to the signature of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and will even offer an exciting talent to Lazio, according to sources.
Last week, reports revealed the Red Devils to be ‘serious’ about Milinkovic-Savic. The central midfielder has been one of Lazio’s best performers this season, notching nine goals and 10 assists in 32 Serie A outings.
As such, Manchester United officials came up with a £59million offer to win the transfer pursuit. They know they have to be quick amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
Another update on Milinkovic-Savic’s future came about on Monday. According to Italian source il Corriere dello Sport, United have held talks with his agent, Mateja Kezman.
Lazio apparently want £66m for the Serbia international, but the Manchester outfit are willing to pay this. And the potential signing even has the green light from incoming manager Erik ten Hag.
However, United are facing increased competition for the statement capture. Goal, who cite new reports in Italy, claim Juventus are part of the hunt.
