Juventus set to join Chelsea and Real Madrid in race for Tchouameni amidst Jorginho blow

Juventus have been keeping an eye on Chelsea's situation as the sanctions imposed on Roman Abramovich will affect their expenditure this summer. This means that their key target could become available if the situation is not resolved in a feasible manner. On the other hand, if plans fail, the Italian giants may look into one of Chelsea's long term transfer targets instead.

Speaking to TuttoSport, football agent, Le Mee spoke about Juventus' potential transfer window and who they'd prefer for their summer wishlist. He said:

"Watch out for Jorginho, who can become an opportunity given the Chelsea situation. But the best shot for Juventus would always be Aurelien Tchouameni: he is a phenomenon."

This comes as bad news for Chelsea as either way, Juventus could snatch a player that they want. Jorginho's agent, Joao Santos, has always been open regarding a move back to Italy for his client. At the end of last year, he told Football Italia that a return to Italy would be a "dream" for Jorginho.

Unfortunately, Chelsea is not obligated to let their vice-captain go just yet. Jorginho's contract will be up in the summer of 2023, and then he will be at liberty to decide to leave the club for a dream return to Italy.

Whilst the ownership of the Blues remains undecided, and their transfer window will be in jeopardy. They will not be able to make any contract negotiations or transfers until Roman Abramovich is 100% clear of any Chelsea affiliation.

This comes as a disappointment for the Blues, but it could be a win for Massimiliano Allegri's team. Tchouameni has been a long term target for the Blues. However, they could miss out.
