Juventus, Inter Milan and Atalanta boost top-four hopes in Serie A as AC Milan, Roma drop points

Lazio, Juventus, Inter Milan and Atalanta were the midweek winners as Serie A’s top-four battle took more twists. Juventus strengthened their position in third with a 2-1 win over Lecce. Ad Leandro Paredes and Dusan Vlahovic got the goals for Juve, who are three points ahead of fourth-placed Inter and five points clear of fifth-placed Atalanta.

Lazio remain in second after beating Sassuolo 2-0 thanks to goals from Felipe Anderson and Toma Basic. Napoli can confirm themselves as champions when they travel to Udinese on Thursday.
