Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has once again complained about fixture congestion as he prepares his side for what could be a decisive showdown with Southampton.
The Reds travel to St Mary’s on Tuesday evening aiming to keep their hopes of winning the Premier League title - and with it the possibility of completing an unprecedented quadruple - alive. Klopp’s men have to win to keep themselves in with a chance of claiming the title.
A draw would see the gap to Manchester City reduced to three points but Pep Guardiola’s men would hold a far superior goal difference heading into the final day of the season meaning that they would be all-but champions in everything but name. A loss would of course hand the trophy back to the reigning champions.
The original clash with Southampton had to be rescheduled due the Reds’ participation in the FA Cup final at the weekend - Liverpool eventually running out winners against Chelsea on penalties. Klopp though has been left aghast at the
