Jurgen Klopp has moved to ease fears over Diogo Jota's injury ahead of Liverpool's Carabao Cup final fixture against Chelsea but could provide little update on Bobby Firmino.
Both players missed Liverpool's win over Norwich on Saturday. Jota's absence was expected after picking up some damange to ligaments around the ankle, but Firmino's injury was announced as the Reds released their team news.
The Brazilian has a muscle injury that is to be assessed.
Following the 3-1 victory over the Canaries, Klopp provided some greater clarity after making seven changes to his side for the game at Anfield.
"With Diogo it looks better than we thought," Klopp said.
"With Bobby we don't know yet. It's a muscle injury and we have to see how long it will take. Not for the next for the next game, we will see. Trent was rested today. The rest were in the squad."
