Jurgen Klopp: Liverpool boss makes fan's day after Man City win

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp added the Community Shield to his impressive Anfield trophy haul on Saturday evening as the Reds swept Manchester City aside 3-1 at the King Power Stadium in Leicester.

Following a VAR check, Liverpool were awarded a penalty. True to form, Mo Salah made no mistake from the spot to give Klopp’s men the lead with seven minutes remaining.

Nunez put the icing on the cake for his new club in stoppage time to settle the match, handling Liverpool their first win in the fixture in three attempts under Klopp.

There was no telling the travelling Reds fans that the match was a ‘friendly’ at the final whistle as they erupted in celebration after getting one over on Pep Guardiola’s side.
