It was getting late on Tuesday night but Sadio Mane didn't look like he would be getting his head down any time soon.

Basking in the glow of becoming a Champions League finalist for a third time, Mane was not quite ready to hit the hay when he was spotted by a handful of Liverpool fans.

At the club's Castellon hotel, Mane was more than happy to stop and pose for photos with the supporters who had made the journey to Spain for the second leg of the semi-final with Villarreal.

It's unclear exactly what the topic of conversation was in the hotel lobby, but it's likely the fans were full of praise for Liverpool's No.10. His goal in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Unai Emery's men was his 21st of an increasingly productive campaign.

That calm and composed finish was also his 15th of the knockout stages of the Champions League, a tally which sees him become the highest-scoring African in the latter rounds of Europe's premier
