Jurgen Klopp gets spiky over Ben Doak chances as Liverpool boss pressed for an answer on Europa League start

Jurgen Klopp wasn't having it when asked if Ben Doak will be involved for Liverpool in the Europa League on Thursday - telling reporters "wait and see."

The Scotland U21 kid signed a new long-term deal at Anfield yesterday and has been tipped for a big role for the Reds in UEFA's second tier competition - with many expecting Klopp to heavily rotate his team against LASK, Union SG and Toulouse. Doak the sixth prong of a Liverpool attack that boasts Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, Jota and Luis Diaz and is expected to get some minutes in the group stage and later this season in the domestic cups.

But he was keeping his cards close to his chest when asked if Doak will feature when they travel to Austria. One reporter asked if there would be minutes for "fringe players," naming Doak as an example.

But he responded: "Absolutely no information about that. You will have to wait until tomorrow, enjoy or don't. We are here to compete, not to give opportunities for nobody. Not ours and not for them."
