Jude Bellingham sends two-word message to Mason Mount after completing Manchester United transfer

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has congratulated England teammate Mason Mount on sealing his big-money move to Manchester United from Chelsea.

United unveiled Mount as their first signing of the summer on Wednesday morning, less than a week after they had reached a £60million agreement with Chelsea. The midfielder has put pen to paper on an initial five-year deal, featuring the option of an additional year.

The 24-year-old, who spent 18 years at Stamford Bridge, will be hoping to hit the ground running in M16 after being identified as manager Erik ten Hag's primary midfield target. The Dutchman wanted to add fresh legs to his pool of midfielders and Mount will most certainly offer that.

The midfielder, who has been awarded the No.7 shirt, is seven years younger than both Christian Eriksen and Casemiro, meaning he will reduce the average age of the Reds' midfield options. He is expected to slot straight into Ten Hag's preferred midfield system and replace Eriksen, who evidently tired towards the end of last term.

Mount has stressed his delight at getting the move done nice and early into the summer, meaning he will get the chance to work with his new teammates throughout pre-season. He has also addressed the responsibility that comes with wearing the club's iconic No.7 shirt.
