Jude Bellingham impresses fans with interview after Dortmund 2-4 Rangers

Jude Bellingham impressed football fans with an excellent post-match interview after his Borussia Dortmund side suffered a shock 4-2 defeat at home to Rangers in the Europa League.

Rangers sealed a famous win at Signal Iduna Park thanks to goals from James Tavernier, Alfredo Morelos and John Lundstram, plus an own goal by Dan-Axel Zagadou.

The Scottish side raced into a stunning 3-0 lead early in the second half before Bellingham pulled a goal back for the shell-shocked hosts in the 51st minute.

Raphael Guerreiro also scored towards the end of the match to leave the tie delicately poised ahead of next week’s return leg at Ibrox.

Make no mistake about it, this was a humiliating defeat for Dortmund, who went into the two-legged tie as strong favourites.

However, Bellingham told BT Sport after the match that he won’t let any of his Dortmund teammates give up ahead of the second leg.

In a post-match interview that defied his tender age, Bellingham said: “In the second half I realised we were going for it a little bit, but we can’t be that open and we can’t allow those kind of chances.

“There’s a bit of hope because we have the second leg and there’s not one person in that changing room that’s going to give up – and I won’t let them.

“We’re going to go there and give everything. We know how hard it’s going to be.

“For me personally, I can’t wait to play at Ibrox. It’s one of the best stadiums in Europe, in my opinion, when it’s packed on European nights. So bring it on.”
