Jude Bellingham handed Man City and Real Madrid transfer warning as 'freedom' factor sees him urged to stay at Dortmund

Didi Hamann insists Jude Bellingham isn’t disciplined enough yet to fit into Real Madrid or Manchester City as he urged the English star to remain at Borussia Dortmund for another year to help with his development.

The teenage ace has been at the centre of huge transfer speculation over his future at the Bundesliga side with Liverpool pulling out of the race given Dortmund are looking for around £135 million plus add-ons for the former Birmingham City man. However, Bellingham dropped a hint he might not move on at all with his goal celebration in the rout out Wolfsburg when he appeared to say "F*** the talk, I’m staying”. Bellingham has a contract until 2025 and former Anfield and Germany star Hamann - who also played for City and Newcastle during his time in England - told BGS: "If he goes to City or Real Madrid, he won’t get away with what he’s doing with Dortmund at the minute. At Dortmund he’s got pretty much free rein to do as he wants and gets away with it because he contributes, he scores goals, he creates goals, he sets goals up.

“He won’t be able to do that at Madrid or Manchester City. I think for him, for his development, it would be best to stay one more season at Dortmund and then move on, move wherever he wants. I saw the celebration and it seemed to imply that there’s a chance he will stay.

“There is a chance he will stay because the longer it goes on, and there’s no finalising of a deal with anyone, it gives Dortmund more of a chance to keep him.
