Journalist Pete O’Rourke is ‘sure’ Tosin Adarabioyo is on West Ham's radar

Journalist Pete O’Rourke is ‘sure’ that Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo will be on the radar of West Ham United manager David Moyes.

The 24-year-old has gone from strength to strength over the last couple of campaigns and has been linked with a move to the London Stadium on the back of some eye-catching displays.

According to a report by Claret & Hugh, Moyes is ‘likely’ to make a move for Adarabioyo when the transfer market re-opens in the summer as he’s desperate to reinforce his depleted backline.

It’s claimed that West Ham were interested in signing the 6 foot 5 ace in the January transfer window, but with Fulham currently flying high in the Championship, a deal was never on the table.

The report also states that the Cottagers have placed a £22 million price tag on their first-choice centre-back and that ‘talks are set to get underway’ between Adarabioyo’s management company and the Hammers.

As per WhoScored, Adarabioyo has won 3.3 aerial duels while also making 1.5 interceptions, 3.8 clearances and 0.7 blocks, placing him in the top three for each metric when compared to his teammates.

West Ham were linked to several defenders last month yet ultimately failed to make any additions to Moyes’ first-team squad.

He told GiveMeSport: “Yeah, in January, they were after a centre-back but were not able to bring in the targets that David Moyes
