Journalist: Newcastle now lead race for 'serious baller', he's faster than ASM

Journalist Dean Jones has claimed that Newcastle United are one of the front runners leading the chase to sign Marcus Rashford.

Marcus Rashford has struggled this season due to injury woes and being out of favour at the club, he has made just 10 starts in the Premier League for Manchester United, whilst making a further nine appearances from the bench.

The English winger has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in the summer after he has become frustrated with the lack of game time that has been handed to him this season under Ralf Rangnick.

After it has been apparent that Rashford could seek a move elsewhere in the summer, Dean Jones reported to GIVEMESPORT that the two sides who lead the race for the English star are Newcastle United and Arsenal.

“I think as soon as Rashford’s future came into doubt, we did a story on the fact that Arsenal and Newcastle would be the two teams expected to lead the chase for Rashford, and I think that is the case,” Jones said.
