Joshua vs Klitschko, KSI vs Paul: Eddie Hearn names top five fights he’s promoted
Eddie Hearn is arguably the biggest boxing promoter in the world at the moment and has ditched Sky Sports for DAZN as he dominates the sport with his fighters, including the eagerly anticipated Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua rematch this coming weekend.
He has had the pleasure of working with some of the biggest names including his star fighter Joshua, as well as the likes of Wladimir Klitschko, Katie Taylor and KSI.
The famous promoter recently sat down with GQ Sports to name and break down the top five fights he’s promoted in his career so far.
Joshua vs Klitschko
Arguably one of the greatest heavyweight fights of all time, this was certainly a rollercoaster for spectators, with both fighters seeming down and out during the bout.
Hearn included this for the sheer size of the fight, selling Wembley out in a day and seeing his client, Joshua, really stamp his authority on the heavyweight division with his first major win in the sport.
Although the Ukrainian was nearing the end of his illustrious career, he was still on top form, but was ultimately stopped after 11 rounds with the Briton.
Taylor vs Serrano
This was a fight earlier this year for the undisputed lightweight world championship. Taylor dominated the amateur side of the sport before turning pro.
She defended her titles against Amanda Serrano who was a seven division world champion at Madison Square Garden, with Serrano using Jake Paul as her promoter.
Both fighters earned over seven figures on the night in a landmark night for the women’s side of the sport at the Mecca of boxing, with Taylor taking the win on a split decision.
KSI vs Logan Paul 2
