Josh Kroenke sends passionate message to Arsenal fans in rare media appearance

Arsenal co-owner Josh Kroenke has urged fans to believe in the process and claimed their results in North America speak for themselves.

The Gunners have now gone almost 20 years without winning the Premier League, with Mikel Arteta’s current crop of stars well off the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.

But in a rare media appearance, Kroenke has stated that the future is bright at the Emirates, having built the youngest squad in the top flight.

Arsenal made a point to target youthful new recruits in the summer, signing six players aged 23 or under, with Arteta’s side on the verge of returning to the Champions League.

But in comparison to the rest of KSE’s portfolio of teams, Arsenal are lagging behind - particularly after watching the Los Angeles Rams win the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The Rams lifted NFL’s biggest prize over the weekend, beating the Cincinnati Bengals at their own SoFI Stadium.

In basketball, the Kroenke’s have built a championship contender in the Denver Nuggets, whilst Colorado Avalanche are the current favourites to lift the Stanley Cup in the NHL.

And Kroenke, who has taken an active role in north London in recent years, believes that their methods are vindicated by the success they are enjoying in other sports.

“We’re excited to be where we are in the Premier League, we have a great young squad, great young manager and we’ve got a bright future,” Kroenke said on BlueWire’s Road Trippin’ Podcast.

“Now that we have 100 per cent of the club - we’ve had it only since 2018 - we’re laying the foundations of a really bright future.

“I think if any of the Arsenal fanbase wants to look at our teams here in North America, which surprisingly they don’t do very often.
