Josh Allen: Buffalo Bills QB had hilarious audible call during rout over LA Rams

Josh Allen had a rather interesting and perhaps unique audible that he used last night as the Buffalo Bills took on the Los Angeles Rams.

This is a year that almost feels like one of destiny for both the Buffalo Bills as a franchise, and Josh Allen as a quarterback. After years of being a laughing stock in the NFL, indeed they did at one point hold the record for the longest drought in North American sports when it came to missing the playoffs, things are certainly on the up for the Bills. 

They have been in the playoffs in each of the past three seasons, and in the last two they have managed to wrestle the AFC East crown away from the New England Patriots and have set their side up to be a team that could well rule the division for the next several years.

But whilst they might be set up for the long run, there is also plenty of hype surrounding them this season, with many placing them as their favourites to win the Super Bowl, meanwhile Allen is being considered as a possible candidate for league MVP. 

If you’d have looked at Allen a few years ago when he first stepped into the league, you may have been stunned to see his name in conversation to be MVP, as during his first full season in the league, he completed less than 60% of his passes, threw for just 3,089 passing yards and 20 touchdowns, relying more on his feet to get him out of trouble. 

Now though, he has combined an incredible arm with those feet to become one of the finest duel-threat quarterbacks in the league, and leads a Bills offense that can put up a battle with just about anyone around the rest of the league.
